Friday fever!

Well, Yesterday was better than the day before – my total calories consumed was 3090.  Now if I could just half that I would be a picture of health…maybe. 
I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but I walked for a total of 30 minutes yesterday.  That is 25minutes more than earlier in the week and the walking was INTENTIONAL walking!  So that’s a little better.
I know that tonight will be a bad night calorie-wise as I am going to an Octoberfest celebration (yes, I know it’s a little late, but tell it to the folks out here in HK).  I do intend to enjoy the beer and possibly a few pretzels and sausages.  A bonus though is that I will have to walk a while to get to the location as I need to get to the ferry and then from the ferry terminal on to the destination.  A bunch of folks from work are going to this shindig, including a few that I will call friends so hopefully it will be a good time.
I do intend to behave myself…well, mostly;-)  My hubby will be joining me as well so I know that between the two of us we can have a good time.
This weekend promises to be a busy one.  Tomorrow we are going out to find a tailor and a dressmaker as we need a tuxedo and a dress made for a ball we are attending next month.  We also need to find Halloween costume pieces as we are going to two Halloween events – one for adults only and one the following day for kids where we are volunteers.  However, the same people will be at both so wearing the same costume could be a little lame.  And after that I need to get to work on sorting out our apartment as it still looks like a disaster zone.  We got our shipment two weeks ago today and the kitchen is squared away, but I really want everything else done so that we can start to invite people over to say thank you.
Hope everyone else has great plans for the weekend!  I plan on walking my buns off!

  1. It is hard to get back on track. Lately I've been stuck on 123 kg's, I hope to get down to 118 before Christmas, but we'll see. It is a lot of hard work, and stress of moving to another country must make it even harder. But I'm rooting for you! :o)
